Our Houses
At HWIS, every student and teacher belongs to one of four Houses: Heracles, Wukong, Ixbalam, or Setna. The House system builds belonging, teamwork, character, and school spirit by creating smaller communities within the wider school.

House Points recognize positive contributions to school life, including academic effort, leadership, service, sportsmanship, and community participation. The system encourages healthy competition while reinforcing the values and attitudes we want to cultivate across the school.
The Box of Accolades (BOA)
The Box of Accolades (BOA) is part of the HWIS recognition system. Teachers award BOA tickets to acknowledge positive student contributions in responsibility, excellence, service, persistence, enthusiasm, collaboration, and timeliness.
